You will receive your Level One attunement, an energetic initiation that opens the flow of Reiki energy in your system and opens the way for you to channel it through your hands. Our time together balances knowledge with experience. You will learn energy hygiene and self-care practices, hand positions for self-treatment and treating others, and how to sense subtle shifts in energy. We will discuss the science of relaxation, the body’s natural healing response, and how Reiki harmonizes with these processes. A special feature of this training is the opportunity to practice Reiki with animals—particularly horses and other beings on the farm.
